 Upcoming Dates and Reminders:

Homework: Thank you all for the hard work with your kids at home! We are starting "Red words" These are words that are hard to sound out that the kids need to memorize! I have attached them in the email. Please let me know if you would like a printed copy of these and I am happy to send them home!

Off campus times: With the colder weather we will be leaving for our off campus days at 11:30. We will eat lunch before we go!

Critter Barn: We are excited to be headed to the critter barn November 15. This is an all day event.. We are looking for 2 volunteers to come along and help lead a group. We will be split up into 4 groups and will need 2 parents to come help! Please let me know if you are interested! This is from 9:30-2:00. We will be bussed over !

Christmas:
We will be doing our Christmas party and Christmas movie day on December 22nd. This is our last day of school before Christmas break.
We will be doing stockings the month of December. We would like to put different items in each kids stocking every day the month of December to count down until Christmas! We are looking for any donations to help make this possible.. You can get creative with this, the kids will have a blast with it! Please make sure to provide 26 of the same or similar enough items! If you want to do a girl/boy item we have 9 girls and 17 boys! Some ideas would be socks, crayons, candy, small toy, color books, homemade treat, etc! Please write your name and what you are thinking of donating so we do not have a bunch of the same item!! You can bring these any time from now until after Thanksgiving! Please keep this a surprise for the kids! Thank you for those who have already signed up !

School Start time:
I have had a few of our teachers reach out and say we have a few kids coming a bit too early in the morning! This is a gentle reminder that drop off time is from 8:10-8:20, if you need to come early there is a teacher from one of the 4 classrooms watching early kids outside from 7:45-8:10. If you are earlier then that we do NOT have adult supervision! We only have our reading assistant for 45 minutes and like to start rotations in the morning right at 8:25! It is very distracting for other kids when kids are getting dropped off after 8:25. So between 8:10-8:20 is the best drop off time! Thank you all!!
