 Upcoming Dates and Reminders: 

Ticks: Please check your child for ticks every night! 

Spring Program 

Our spring concert is March 14 at Christ Memorial Church at 6:30. We are so excited to sing for you and worship with you that evening. Students should dress in nice clothes (something like what they might wear to church).

• Young 5s through 5th grade students should arrive between 6:00-6:15. They will meet with their teachers in the lobby. Families will head into the sanctuary to be seated by 6:20.

Grandparents Day: 

Grandparents day is from 10:00-11:00 on May 3. Grandparents can take your child out for lunch or you are welcome to take a half day if they want to spend more time with your child! 

Tutor Opportunity: 

I am hoping to tutor a day of two a week this summer! More information and a sign up to come :) 

Beth Bull is also tutoring and asked if I would share this with you all!

Psalm 23

We are working on memorizing Psalm 23 as a class if you would like to help at home! 

Red Words: 

Please keep working on reading and writing sight words with your child! We hope to have all kids know how to read and write them by the end of the year! We try and work on them at school multiple times a day! Please encourage your child to recognize them in their books as well! We did not test what list they can write to this week. We try to do this every other week as it takes a lot of time with each child! We practiced a lot :)

Psalm 23

We are working on memorizing Psalm 23 as a class if you would like to help at home! 

LUNCH! 

Please note our surprise lunch MARCH 5! This will be a fun afternoon!! Hopefully we have warm weather and are able to eat outside! 

Spring Program 

March 14: Spring program at 6:30pm at Christ Memorial. We have rehearsal during school March 5 and March 14. 

Pancake and PJs! 

We will be having our pancake party Thursday March 7. We are excited to try our fresh maple syrup! Your child may wear PJS! This should be a fun morning! 

March 22 

A small change of plans, we will be heading to VanRaalte instead of Riley trails for the day! We will learn more about the process of tapping trees! 

Reading A-Z: 

I have moved reading levels on reading a-z up a level for everyone! Please continue to use this as a great reading resource! 

Tulip Time: 

Just a reminder kindergarten is NOT in the tulip time parade. This starts in 1st grade !
